Look a likeys !

For this post I am going to talk about something I love and have gotten into collecting again more lately and that is nail polish.More importantly that in my opinion up to a point, nail polish is nail polish! It doesn't matter how much it costs and what fancy packaging it is in or how it is promoted,if you are hard on your nails or just an average lady who does a usual routine, your polish is going to wear and chip quite quickly. That said there can be a slight difference in longevity but it is slight.I cannot talk from experience of using a lot of high end polishes because I don't justify spending that much on a polish but I do own afew Nails Inc polishes.I find the Nails Inc polishes to be nice, they go on well but I wouldn't say they last any longer than a Barry M nail paint or a W7 polish, both of which are considerably cheaper.Talking of Barry M that brings me to the picture that goes with this post and the main idea of this post also!

I was doing a nail design the other day(studded nails which will be shown on my youtube channel) and I knew what base colour I wanted to use but then I had the decision of which one as I own two similar shades of the Taupe,Barry M and Nails Inc.I plumped for the Barry M one, which I think I slightly prefer. It is the darker one out of the two but a very good dupe and around £8 cheaper.(I got my Nails Inc ones for free however, mainly with Glamour magazine) However we are all different and have different tastes so some may find they enjoy the higher brands but some may find they don't want to purchase those so they can build up a colour collection quicker or just don't have the budget.Whatever it is cheaper polishes are definitely worth a look (Although higher priced ones are available at the £ shop if you wanted to give one a go,check out my previous blog post!) I am sure whatever latest Chanel or Mac polish you have seen adorning a model on there ad campaign can be obtained near enough in another brand, there are so many colours out there so surely something will come close!

P.S the Barry M polish shown is in the shade Mushroom.
